I sought the coaching process to be able to help myself to think and define the best way to follow, but I was surprised by a process that led me to a deeper understanding of how I make decisions, understanding and adjusting values to new realities. I leave much more strengthened and prepared not only to make a decision, but to face transformations of any kind from now on. It exceeded all my expectations!

The coaching process was a positive surprise. I was looking for a push to decide to leave the company where I worked for 11 years and I earned much more than that. Coaching has encouraged me to question every single one of my workings. It helped me look at my instincts and more childish, animal behavior I would say. It's as if all my mental models have been deprogrammed. Although I had some very deep certainties, I allowed myself to ask, 'But why so?', 'Does it really work?' By the sixth conversation, we drew up a plan of action that I helped to engineer. The purpose was to make my qualities work in my favor - and to go forward. The coaching experience with R122 company was quite significant to me. My coach was a person experienced and careful enough to lead me in this process that was not always easy or pleasant, and with that I felt confident to go forward. The coaching process goes through self-knowledge. The first step is to understand what is happening to you, your yearnings, your limitations and your potential. Only with this recognition from the inside out will it be possible to have different results with your team and colleagues. The second crucial point is the identification of a competency that you, the coachee, chose to work on as the main learning and improvement point. After 3 months of hard work with my coach I was able to get a much clearer view of my strengths and weaknesses, a development goal, and a method to achieve that goal. Most importantly, the process is done so that you can always consult it, evaluating whether the method is being followed or not. Coaching is for anyone who genuinely wants to evolve, break down internal paradigms and take responsibility for a more assertive and aligned with personal values professional life .

My expectation in using this tool was to be able to have other perspectives on my career vision and its relationship to my personal values and life purpose. Coaching has intensely helped me to identify some behavior patterns, to separate the causes that really impact my development, and to define an objective action plan. I think the professionals in Brazil still do not have an exact understanding of what the coaching process is. I can say for myself - when I made the decision to do it, I did not know what to expect - I just totally trusted my future coach. From this point of view, my coaching process went through an education phase so that I would know how to make the most of the meetings. Once we understood coaching was not therapy, we began to work on the points we hold together to be the most important. The result was a turnaround in my way of acting and interacting in my work environment through fully objective and efficient tools. Doing the coaching was important to identify some strength that I have and how to exploit them in day to day relationships. Coaching was for me the push I needed to get out of my stagnation. With the process, it was much easier to see that part of my professional problems originated in myself and with a little effort and willpower these could easily be overcome. And that's what happened. Although I continue to have professional problems, the totality of them is not directly imputed to me. I can motivate myself even in very adverse situations, which once seemed almost impossible to me. I believe that I left the process with a new critical sense, knowing how to better assess situations to attack them in the best possible way.
